Staying at a nearby hotel, we asked Siri to find “the highest rated restaurant near us”. Molkajete was at the top of the list, so we went. We were very happy to see the ratings were accurate. The menu is Mexican/Peruvian fusion inspired and the creator, Hugo has developed dishes to suit any palate. We recommend the signature dish, Molkajete. It was plenty for two people and full of amazing meats. Vegetables, Fried cheese, and shrimp. The handmade to order quacamole was really good. Congratulations, Hugo on your amazing restaurant!

Outstanding Experience at Molkajete! My wife and I had an incredible dining adventure. We savored the flavors of the Ceviche Limeno and Leche de Tigre Ceviche and , both bursting with freshness and zesty goodness. The Molkajete stole the show with its perfectly grilled NY steak, shrimp, and a medley of flavors that left us craving for more. The Tres Leches dessert was a heavenly treat that rounded off the meal flawlessly. We must give a special shout-out to Chef Hugo Garcia for his remarkable culinary skills. Each dish was crafted with precision and passion. The cocktail selection was exceptional, perfectly complementing our dishes. Overall, we give Molkajete a resounding 5-star rating. The food, ambiance, and service were simply outstanding. A must-visit for those seeking an unforgettable culinary experience in Brooklyn."

Outstanding. We frequented this place a couple time previously when it featured primarily Peruvian cuisine, now it is tilted more toward Mexican with Peruvian menu features. Still outstanding, highly highly recommended. Prices are more than fair for the quality and presentation of this food. Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Try it -- you will be back again and again.! A true hidden gem.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is delicious and the staff are the most lovely people ever. The restaurant has reinvented itself a few times, and it’s better than ever and still serving the best ceviche around.

Stumbled upon this spot walking by and decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did, the food is absolutely amazing. The NY strip steak and chicken enchiladas were phenomenal! Also they have great customer service, they were very attentive and gracious. Definitely hit them up if you're in the area, you will not be disappointed.
